An adaptive learning platform, MVP shipped in 7 days

A low-code adaptive learning platform reached a working MVP in 7 days on FlutterFlow and Firebase — replacing infrequent update courses with continuous, gamified training that a bioinformatics sales team could take on web, iOS, or Android.

The challenge

  • A bioinformatics instruments retailer needed to keep a salesforce current on complex products that require continual learning.
  • Traditional training didn't work — update courses were infrequent and failed to engage, so product knowledge wasn't retained.
  • An international workforce meant varied regional and language needs, and the MVP had to be built within just 7 days.

What we did

  • We built a low-code platform for continuous, interactive training, reaching a working MVP within seven days.
  • Firebase and Firestore handle real-time data, FlutterFlow drives an adaptable front end, and a headless CMS (Caisy) lets content be updated fast.
  • Content modules are customisable per field, with varied question types, digital badges, and progress tracking to keep engagement up.
  • Shipped as a Progressive Web App, it's accessible from web browsers and both the iOS and Android stores.

Results

  • 7 days
    from brief to working MVP
  • 3
platforms from one build: web, iOS, Android

The context

The client is a major bioinformatics instruments retailer whose salesforce has to stay current on complex, fast-moving products. Traditional training wasn't working: update courses were infrequent, long, and unengaging, so product knowledge didn't stick.

There were extra constraints. The workforce is international, so training had to adapt across regions and languages. And the whole MVP had to be built within just seven days.

What we built

We took a low-code approach to reach a working MVP inside that seven-day window, then shaped it into a continuous, interactive training platform.

  • Firebase and Firestore for real-time data and instant updates.
  • FlutterFlow for an adaptable, user-friendly front end.
  • A headless CMS (Caisy) so training material can be updated quickly.
  • Customisable content modules with varied question types, digital badges, and progress tracking.

How it works in production

Content is authored in the CMS and pushed live, so a course reflects the latest product information without a rebuild. A salesperson works through modules, earns badges, and sees their progress, which keeps engagement up between formal sessions. Because it ships as a Progressive Web App, the same build runs on the web and in both the iOS and Android stores.

7 days
from brief to a working MVP, delivered on three platforms

The outcome

The team retained complex product knowledge far better, and gamification lifted participation and motivation. Because content is modular and customisable, the platform adapts fast as products and sales strategies change, and it scales to whatever training the client needs next.
