The challenge

Oncologica's patient pathway ran on manual document transfers and lacked an effective logistics system for sample collection.
The company needed a reliable, secure platform that met all regulatory compliance requirements.
The goal was to streamline the full flow so patients could get results that enable personalised treatment.

What we did

We built a cloud, fully API-based platform to track oncology clinical cases end to end, satisfying audit-trail requirements.
Five distinct interfaces serve lab operators, patients, clinicians, clinics, and logistics operators, giving each stakeholder the right access to data.
Email and SMS notifications, OTP authentication, and file encryption secure data transfer and storage throughout the lifecycle.
The platform was validated against ISO 15189 in under three months, at a lower cost than alternatives on the market.

The context

Oncologica is a precision oncology testing company that helps match cancer patients to targeted therapies based on their tumour profile. The patient journey involves exchanging documents, collecting samples from hospitals, and coordinating with the treating physician.

That pathway ran on manual document transfers and had no effective logistics for sample collection. The process was slow and hard to audit. Oncologica wanted to streamline the whole flow with a reliable, secure platform that met every regulatory requirement.

We designed a cloud, fully API-based platform to track oncology clinical cases end to end, built to satisfy audit-trail requirements from the start.

How it works in production

Each stakeholder logs into the interface built for their role and sees exactly the data they need, no more. Documents and samples move through the pathway with notifications at each step instead of manual hand-offs, and every action is captured for the audit trail. Encryption and OTP protect the data throughout its lifecycle.
